Peitian education
The Wu people in Peitian ancient village attach great importance to education. Wu Zukuan took farming as his career, brought Peitian into school age and hired scholars to run schools. Liu Tian was established to provide scholars with study funds. For example, scholar Tian provides learning funds for scholars and attaches importance to women's education. There are 238 scholars, including Jinshi, Juren, Doctor and scholar, among whom 23 have entered the official career, ranking second to none. Ten academies were established in Peitian, and six ancient academies have been preserved so far. Nanshan Academy in Peitian Village is called "the first portal" by local people. The academy was built more than 500 years ago, and trained more than 40 scholars for this small mountain village. Among the ancient buildings in Peitian Village, there is a unique "Kneeling House", which is said to be specially built for women. The room is small, with three rooms and a lecture hall in the middle. This is where women are educated. This shows that the Hakkas in Peitian Village also attach great importance to women's education. On the wall, we can see the liberation of our minds and our attention to women.
