Check whether the computer's network card is set to automatic acquisition. If so, you can skip this step. If it is not automatic collection, please refer to the following figure to set the IP of the network card to automatic collection.
3 Open a browser, enter 192. 168. 1 in the address bar, and then press enter to enter the router management login page, as shown in the following figure (Note: the IP address of the router is generally192.168.1.
4 Enter the router management password. The default user name and password is "admin", click "Login".
5. Click Installation Wizard in the left pane. Through the setup wizard, we can set up the broadband account of the router.
Click Next and select the network type to which the router is connected. There are three kinds here: the first one is PPPoE(ADSL Virtual Dialing), which is our most common one. Click Next to continue.
7 is to set the wireless name and password. If the router does not have a wireless network, skip this step.
8 SSID is the wireless network name of the router, which can be set by yourself. It is recommended to use an SSID with a combination of letters and numbers. Select the wireless security option. Passwords are used for input verification when connecting to a wireless network, which can protect the wireless security of your router and prevent others from surfing the Internet. It is suggested that the wireless name SSID is a combination of letters and numbers. Try not to use Chinese or special characters, in case some wireless clients cannot connect because they don't support Chinese or special characters. For the security and stability of your network, it is suggested that you must set a wireless password to prevent others from accessing the Internet illegally. After setting the wireless SSID and security password, click Next.
9 After restarting, return to the management interface, turn on the running state, and wait a moment. What I see at this time is the state of the WAN port-the ——IP address bar has specific parameters instead of 0.0.0.0, indicating that the router has been connected to the Internet at this time.
10 If the parameter you see is still 0.0.0, check whether the broadband user name or password is set incorrectly, whether the line corresponding to the network cat is connected correctly, and whether it is connected to the WAN port of the router.
