Parents' obligation to discipline their minor children includes: Articles 14 to 20 of the Law on the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency make a series of specific provisions on parents' obligation to discipline, mainly including: 1. Parents or other guardians of minors and schools should educate minors not to commit the following bad behaviors: (1) playing truant and staying out at night; (2) Carrying controlled knives; (3) Fighting and insulting others; (4) extorting property from others by force; (five) theft or intentional destruction of property; (six) to participate in gambling or gambling in disguise; (seven) watching and listening to pornographic audio-visual products and reading materials; (eight) to enter the commercial dance halls and other places that are not suitable for minors as stipulated by laws and regulations; (nine) other serious violations of social morality. 2. Parents or other guardians of minors and schools shall educate minors not to smoke or drink. 3. Parents or other guardians of minors and schools shall promptly stop minors from organizing or participating in gangs that commit bad behaviors. If a gang is found to have committed illegal and criminal acts, it shall report to the public security organ. 4. Parents or other guardians of minors shall not let minors under the age of 16 live alone without supervision. 5. Parents or other guardians of minors shall not abandon minors, and shall not force them to run away from home and give up their guardianship duties.

Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Minors
Article 10 The Communist Youth League, women's federations, trade unions, disabled persons' federations, committees for caring for the next generation, youth federations, student federations, young pioneers, other people's organizations and relevant social organizations shall assist people's governments at all levels and their relevant departments, people's procuratorates and people's courts in the protection of minors and safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.
Article 11 Any organization or individual shall have the right to dissuade, stop or report and accuse minors to the public security, civil affairs, education and other relevant departments if it finds that the situation is not conducive to their physical and mental health or infringes upon their legitimate rights and interests. State organs, residents' committees, villagers' committees, units in close contact with minors and their staff shall immediately report to public security, civil affairs, education and other relevant departments when they find that the physical and mental health of minors has been infringed, suspected of being infringed or faced with other dangerous situations. The relevant departments shall promptly accept and handle reports, complaints or reports involving minors in accordance with the law, and inform the relevant units and personnel of the results in an appropriate manner.
