When is the annual safety education day for primary and secondary schools?
The last Monday of March every year is the safety education day for primary and secondary schools. 1996, the State Education Commission, the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Communications, the Ministry of Railways, the State Sports Commission, and the Ministry of Health jointly issued a notice on carrying out safety education for primary and secondary school students nationwide, and determined Monday in the last week of March every year as the National Safety Education Day for primary and secondary school students.

Local education departments and primary and secondary schools should further cooperate closely with relevant government departments, families and communities, forge ahead, form a working pattern of multi-sector cooperation, joint management and active participation of the whole society, and strive to create a good social environment for primary and secondary school students' healthy life, happy study and safe growth.

The Ministry of Education has issued the Guidance Manual on Safety Work in Primary and Secondary Schools, which will be distributed to primary and secondary schools all over the country.
