How to Cultivate Students' Interest in Learning Morality and Society
Morality and society is an important subject in nine-year compulsory education. It is an educational spirit to guide students out of school, into society and into nature, broaden their horizons, increase their knowledge and improve their quality in an all-round way. The purpose of offering this course in primary schools is to let students know about the development of the motherland from an early age and cultivate students' good ideological quality of loving the motherland and science. Therefore, as a teacher, how to cultivate students' interest in learning this subject is very important. As a subject teacher who teaches Morality and Society, that's how I started. First, give examples to stimulate students' interest. According to the characteristics of this course, the basic concepts of morality and society should be clarified in teaching to stimulate students' interest in learning morality and society. We should use vivid and convincing theories to educate students to love the motherland, socialism and science. Through the teaching of "morality and society", students are inspired by dialectical materialism. For example, when it comes to the laws around us, students are guided to have a deeper understanding of the things around them by studying the Law on the Protection of Minors in People's Republic of China (PRC), to be able to comment on the phenomena around them in the relevant provisions of the legal provisions, and to learn to protect themselves and stay away from bad habits. Through these, students can feel the significance of learning the subject of "Morality and Society" and become interested in this subject. Second, let students experience life and be interested in shaping their own image. The curriculum standard of Morality and Society clearly points out that students, parents and social customs are all important resources of this course. Moral and social teachers with noble morality and strong sense of responsibility are themselves an intuitive and effective teaching resource. In teaching, teachers should give full play to their exemplary role and influence students with their own teacher role, which is very important to help students learn the course of Morality and Society well. I remember once, I went to a class on morality and society. Just entering the classroom, a small sandbag hit me in the face. It hurts. My eyes suddenly burst into tears. But there was no sound in the classroom, so I had to say with a smile that I was in class. Is this small sandbag a game that students are playing with sandbags? I said, shall I play with you after class? The students smiled and sincerely apologized to me. In that class, they all listened carefully. I think a teacher of the course "Morality and Society" should be strict with self-discipline, take the lead, learn to be modest, and let students learn from their teachers and believe in their ways. Third, arouse students' interest through practice. The course "Morality and Society" is closely related to the real society. Let students understand the relationship between Morality and Society and society, let students further feel the role of studying Morality and Society, and let students understand why they should study Morality and Society. Since ancient times, China has had extensive contacts with many countries and regions in the world. Because the development of history reflects the universal law of human historical process, it also shows its complexity and stumbling, and also provides us with rich patriotic education materials. In order to further enable students to receive patriotic education and better understand society, we must guide students to learn the course "Morality and Society". To make students learn Morality and Society well, we must start with cultivating their enthusiasm and initiative in learning Morality and Society. Therefore, as a teacher of morality and society, according to the characteristics of teaching materials, I adopted the teaching method of combining in-class knowledge teaching with extracurricular practical activities as stipulated in the curriculum standards, organized students to go out of the classroom in a planned way, conducted social surveys, visited local revolutionary old people, learned about the revolutionary struggle of some hometown people, and made up stories to tell. Class meetings are also held through activity classes to raise practical questions. 1. Talking about family changes before and after the reform and opening up from the aspects of food, clothing, housing and transportation. I inspire students to think through discussion, communication, analysis and induction, encourage students to put forward their own views, gradually cultivate students' consciousness ability, stimulate students' curiosity and thirst for knowledge, and stimulate students' interest in learning. From the above examples, we can see that it is very important to guide students to learn the course Morality and Society. Let students know self-esteem in the class of morality and society, care about the interests of the collective, society, country, nation and the world, establish students' social-oriented moral values, promote the continuous improvement of students' comprehensive quality, and cultivate a new generation of high-quality socialism.
