Since the promulgation of the Outline of Education Planning, the Ministry of Education has conducted many special studies on promoting education informatization. At the end of last year, "educational informatization" was brought into the division of work of the Ministry of Education as an independent work. In August this year, the Ministry of Education set up a leading group for educational informatization, set up a special office for promoting educational informatization, implemented leading institutions and responsible departments for educational informatization, promoted the reform of educational informatization management system, and laid the foundation for the comprehensive, in-depth and scientific development of educational informatization. At present, the Ministry of Education is systematically promoting education informatization with top-level design, demonstration and guidance and major projects as the starting point. At the same time, the Ministry of Education attaches great importance to the promotion of local education informatization, and has held many national and some provincial and municipal educational informatization symposiums to unify thoughts, raise awareness and accelerate the pace of local construction. Many provinces and autonomous regions have formulated local education informatization plans and stepped up their implementation. At the end of this year or early next year, a national conference on education informatization will be held to further deploy and promote the construction of national education informatization.
