I. Laws related to violence in schools

1, laws and regulations related to school violence are as follows:

(1) If a school, kindergarten or other educational institution that is legally obligated to educate, manage and protect minors fails to perform relevant obligations within the scope of its duties, causing personal injury to minors or personal injury to others by minors, it shall be liable for compensation corresponding to its fault;

(2) If a person without capacity for civil conduct suffers personal injury during his study and life in a kindergarten, school or other educational institution, the kindergarten, school or other educational institution shall bear the responsibility, but if he can prove that he has fulfilled his educational management responsibility, he shall not bear the responsibility.

2. Legal basis: Article 179th of the Civil Law of People's Republic of China (PRC).

Anyone who infringes on others and causes personal injury shall pay compensation for medical expenses, nursing expenses, transportation expenses, nutrition expenses, hospital food subsidies and other reasonable expenses for treatment and rehabilitation, as well as the income reduced due to missed work. If it causes disability, it shall also compensate for the cost of assistive devices and disability compensation;

If death is caused, funeral expenses and death compensation shall also be paid.
