1 Yan Fu, a bourgeois enlightenment thinker, translator and educator in modern China, was one of the "advanced China people" who sought truth from western countries in modern China history. Famous translation works include Huxley's Evolution, Adam Smith's Original Wealth and Montesquieu's Yi Fa.

2. Hou, a modern chemist in China, was born in 1890, graduated from MIT on 19 16, and was the founder of "Hou Shi Soda Process".
