Huairou first party branch former site

The former site of Huairou No.1 Party Branch is located in Miaoshang Village, Jiuduhe Town, Huairou District, Beijing, which belonged to Lianhe County, Chang Yan during the Anti-Japanese War. 1940 10, Gao, secretary of the Party Committee of the Second District of United County, came to work in Miaoshang Village and established the earliest * * * Party branch in China, so it was called "Huairou No.1 Party Branch" and "Huairou Xibaipo".

In July 2006, the memorial hall of a Party branch in Huairou was built in the temple and opened to the public. The memorial hall covers an area of 5,300 square meters, including exhibition halls, high statues and squares, and can be used for activities such as joining the party ceremony and revisiting the oath of joining the party. In May of 20 17, the Party Committee of Jiuduhe Town, Huairou District upgraded the main exhibition hall of the memorial hall, fully demonstrating the revolutionary course of the people in the temple from War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression to peacetime, constantly inheriting and carrying forward the revolutionary tradition, strengthening their ideals and beliefs, and "always following * * *".

Shayu anti-Japanese martyrs monument

Shayu Anti-Japanese Monument is located in the east of Shayu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing, to commemorate the battle of Shayu, which started the first shot of Huairou Anti-Japanese War. The monument is engraved with1the experience of the Fourth Column of the Eighth Route Army in Shayu Village in June, 938. The monument was built in 1987. The pedestal covers an area of 1.337 square meters, is a square with a side length of 6 meters, and is made of marble, with a height of 1.5 meters.

On the evening of June 1938 and 10, the Deng Hua and Song detachments of the Eighth Route Army joined forces in Tiekuangyu, Dongtai, Xinglong City and Heshayu. In the early morning of June 1 1, the Deng Hua detachment first captured the fake police station in Shayu Village, and then the Eighth Route Army scouts caught three traitors. After the trial, they learned that a squadron of the Japanese Sakamoto Division was marching in the direction of Shayu in an attempt to support the enemy.

The Eighth Route Army decided to use the terrain to attack the enemy. From 1 1 to 4: 00 pm, Shayu ambushed, annihilated a squadron of Banyuan Division 120, and seized more than 80 rifles, 3 light machine guns and 3 Grenade launchers. The victory of Shayu campaign ensured that the main force of the Fourth Vertical Army successfully passed through Huairou area to reach eastern Hebei.

Longtan massacre monument

Longtan Massacre Monument is located in Nanshentangyu Natural Scenic Area, Shipian Village, Yanqi Town, Huairou District, Beijing. On March 27th, 1945, the Japanese puppet troops rushed 27 unarmed civilians from the mountains to the southwest river beach of Longtan in Huairou, Beijing, set up machine guns for collective slaughter, and killed 15 people on the spot, creating a shocking "Longtan tragedy".

The "Longtan Massacre" recorded a tragic history in Huairou Longtan during the Japanese invasion of China. In order to remember the history and mourn the victims, with the approval of Huairou County Committee, the Longtan Massacre Monument was built in the place where the Longtan Massacre occurred, and it has now become a patriotic education base for young people named by the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League.
