Chongqing International Studies University (CIFS), formerly known as Chongqing Southern Translation College of Sichuan International Studies University, is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education.

The college was founded in 200 1, and began to enroll students in 2002. In 2003, it was established as an independent college by the Ministry of Education, and was awarded the bachelor's degree on 20 1 1. At the end of 2020, with the consent of the Ministry of Education, it was transformed into an independent private undergraduate school. After nearly 20 years of development, the school has been built into a multidisciplinary university with literature as the main body, language as the advantage, and literature, economy, management, art, engineering and other disciplines developing in harmony.

Campus environment:

The school has two campuses, Qijiang and Yubei. Qijiang Campus is located in Qijiang District, the south gate of Chongqing, in the new urban area in the east of Qijiang District. The campus is built on the mountain, with lush trees and fresh air. Landscape Avenue is connected with Furong Garden, and 10,000 cherry blossoms along the way are a beautiful scenery unique to the school.

Yubei Campus is located in Liangjiang New District, Chongqing, a national development zone, adjacent to Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. The campus is shaded by trees, with small bridges and flowing water and winding paths, which highlights the ultimate beauty. The teaching, experimental training, sports and living facilities in the two campuses are fully functional and well-equipped, which is a good place to study.
