Reflections and suggestions on physics teaching in senior one I. Confusion of teachers and students

The new physics textbook for senior one requires only two classes a week, and the class hours are greatly reduced. The traditional classroom teaching design can no longer meet the new teaching requirements. This requires us to study again and learn to adapt to the new requirements of education and teaching.

Teachers' confusion: ① Less class hours make it difficult to complete teaching tasks. There are many teaching contents, which can't be completely taught by teachers, but let students learn more by themselves, just as teachers can't do their duty. ③ Teachers' teaching design has a low starting point, but the results are often high. (4) The combination of pre-class extension and in-class demonstration, cooperation and exploration is not tacit. ⑤ Students' initiative is poor, which delays class time. When students answer questions inaccurately and inappropriately, teachers are afraid of wasting time and simply answer for students.

Student problems: ① Students' learning initiative is poor. The performance is that the teacher does not preview before class, does not understand the content in class, is busy taking notes in class, ignores the real task of attending class, focuses on one thing and studies passively. ② In practice and homework, students are slow to respond, do not talk about speed, and can't train the agility of thinking; My thoughts are not concentrated, and my homework and practice are not efficient. (3) The study is not organized. Because of the lack of time, I can't consolidate, summarize and find the connection between knowledge in time after class. Instead, I am busy with my homework, confused about problems, and have a little knowledge of concepts, laws, formulas and theorems, and memorize them by rote.

Second, some suggestions and ideas.

1. Advice for freshmen

Physics is one of the key subjects in middle schools. It is classic and abstract. Although it comes from life and experiments, it is difficult to understand, so many students flinch. So how can we learn physics well? My suggestions are as follows:

(1) Extension before class

When the amount of class hours decreases and the spare time increases, it is necessary to extend before class. Let students learn to learn by themselves if they can learn, and let students learn to learn by cooperation if they can discuss.

(2) Learn every knowledge point in the classroom.

The standard of understanding is that you can answer the questions of "what", "how" and "why" of each concept and law; For some similar and confusing knowledge, we should be able to tell their connections and essential differences; We can solve some specific physical problems by analyzing the concepts and laws we have learned.

In order to study, students must do the following three things: read textbooks carefully; Listen carefully; Integrate theory with practice. Textbook knowledge is a high generalization and summary of predecessors' experience, accurate and concise. We must read and think again and again. Through reading before class, we can understand the key points, difficulties and doubts of knowledge, so as to attend classes purposefully and improve learning efficiency. In class, the teacher's explanation is generally more specific and detailed than the textbook. Listening carefully, on the one hand, can better grasp the ins and outs of knowledge and deepen understanding; On the other hand, we should also pay attention to learning teachers' ideas and methods of analyzing and solving problems and improve our thinking ability.

(3) Master Kurt's way of thinking in physics.

There are many physical laws in middle school, and the physical phenomena and processes are ever-changing. It is far from enough to master basic concepts and laws, but also to master scientific thinking methods, such as hypothesis method, idealization method, equivalent substitution method, isolation method and whole method, independent action principle, superposition synthesis principle and so on. Only by mastering the scientific thinking method can we improve our reasoning ability, analytical and comprehensive ability, the ability to decompose complex problems into simple ones, and flexibly use what we have learned to solve physical problems.

(4) Review and consolidate what you have learned in time.

After class, you must review the whole process of introduction, analysis, induction, summary and application of the new knowledge you have just learned, and compare it with similar knowledge in your brain to see if there is any contradiction. If there are contradictions, it means that we have not really understood what we have learned. At this time, it is necessary to rethink and re-read the textbooks. On the basis of understanding what you have learned, finish your homework in time. Students who have spare capacity can do some extracurricular exercises to test the accuracy of their knowledge and consolidate what they have learned.

2. Some ideas

(1) Transform the new teaching idea into classroom teaching behavior.

Teachers should try to change their teaching behavior. Teachers should not only pay attention to imparting knowledge or be satisfied with making students feel novel or attract their attention, but more importantly, they should be good at guiding students to use existing knowledge and skills to successfully solve problems. From focusing on results to focusing on processes, from focusing on knowledge transfer to focusing on quality training, we should constantly explore, experiment, summarize and improve. (2) Strengthen the implementation of basic knowledge and the cultivation of basic abilities.

The introduction of physics and the implementation of basic knowledge of physics are still the main tasks of physics teaching in senior high schools. To master the basic knowledge skillfully, we should not only grasp the essence of physical concepts and laws, but also carry out teaching and exploration from its background, establishment process and specific application, so as to make the knowledge points complete, three-dimensional and rich and make students really understand. Only in this all-round teaching process can we cultivate students' quality and improve their ability.

(3) Pay attention to the cultivation of students' basic sports habits.

Some basic habits of learning physics must be developed. Judging from the answer, three aspects need to be emphasized here: first, strict drawing. Teachers should first set an example by standardizing drawing, and then strictly require students to form the habit of standardizing drawing and be good at accurately representing a physical problem with pictures. The second is to improve the ability of mathematical operation. Judging from the answer sheet, students' mathematical operation ability is generally poor, so it is necessary to strengthen training. The third is to standardize the problem-solving process. To be able to express one's thinking process completely, the expression and demonstration should have a preliminary level and logic, at least fluency.

(4) Continue to strengthen the teaching of physics experiments, and strive to cultivate students' scientific exploration spirit.

In recent years, our school has been strengthening the teaching of physics experiments, and students can basically master the relevant knowledge of the prescribed experiments and have certain practical operation ability. In the future experimental teaching, we should pay attention to setting up experimental scenes, raising experimental questions, allowing students to participate in designing experiments, conducting experimental operations, analyzing and summarizing, and drawing conclusions. Then the ideological system of experiment is formed, the experimental methods are mastered, and the comprehensive ability of experimental design and operation is improved, so as to cultivate students' scientific inquiry ability, scientific attitude of seeking truth from facts and innovative exploration spirit.
