Bozhou is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Anhui Province, located in the northwest of Anhui Province, bordering Shangqiu City, Henan Province in the north, Zhoukou City, Henan Province in the west, Fuyang City, Anhui Province in the south, Huaibei City and Bengbu City, Anhui Province in the east. Bozhou is located at115 53' ~116 49' east longitude and 32 5/'~ 35 05' north latitude. It is long in the southeast and northwest syncline, about 150 km long and about 90 km wide.
Bozhou is an Anhui provincial municipality approved by the State Council in May 2000, which governs Qiaocheng District, Mengcheng County, Guoyang County and Lixin County. Qiaocheng District is the seat of Bozhou municipal government, with a total urban planning area of 572.77 square kilometers ... The whole territory of Bozhou city is in the shape of southeast and northwest syncline, and the whole Bozhou terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with a natural slope to the southeast of 1/9000. Zhanlou, Qiaocheng District in the northwest, has the highest terrain, with an altitude of 42.5 meters. The south of Zhangou in Lixin County is the lowest in the southeast, with an altitude of 22 meters and a relative drop of 20.5 meters. Affected by the meandering cutting of rivers and the early invasion of the Yellow River, hills, slopes and dish-shaped depressions are alternately distributed in the plain, which has the geomorphological characteristics of "big flat and small uneven".
