In order to respond to the call of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council to vigorously develop vocational and technical education, meet the needs of higher education reform and development, fully tap the school's school-running potential, and train urgently needed construction talents for the country, the school began to recruit vocational students in the autumn of 2000. According to the requirements and characteristics of higher vocational education, Hefei and Anqing have jointly established three campuses, namely, Anqing Campus jointly organized with Anqing Petrochemical Group; Hefei East District is jointly organized with the former Anhui Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources; JAC Campus is jointly organized with Jianghuai Automobile Group. In March, 20001year, in order to strengthen and standardize the management of higher vocational education, the Higher Vocational and Technical College of Hefei University of Technology was established through school research. It has three campuses, 1 1 majors, and currently has 1203 students. After the establishment of the college, it was gradually clarified in the development process that "under the guidance of the education policy of the party and the state, the policies and regulations of the Ministry of Education and the Anhui Provincial Department of Education on the development of higher vocational education, we should fully grasp the favorable opportunity for the country to vigorously develop higher vocational education and the rapid development of the school, and make use of all available educational resources inside and outside the school to appropriately expand the scale of higher vocational education; Taking the basic goal of higher vocational talent training as the core, we will constantly explore and develop the connotation of the training goal, and gradually form the talent training model of higher vocational education in our school. Combine the actual situation of each campus, unify the requirements, make overall planning and coordination, manage by districts, and give classified guidance, vigorously strengthen the management of education and teaching, take improving quality as the foundation, promote development with characteristics, and gradually improve the level and efficiency of higher vocational education. " The guiding ideology establishes the talent quality characteristics of "profound theory, superior skills and excellent quality" in higher vocational education, conceives the quality monitoring system of higher vocational education, and puts forward the training target orientation of the dual-objective system (theory+skill type, skill+theory type).
