The Compulsory Education Law stipulates that schools may not set up key classes and non-key classes separately.

Article 57 of the Compulsory Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that in any of the following circumstances, the education administrative department of the people's government at the county level shall order it to make corrections within a time limit; If the circumstances are serious, the directly responsible person in charge and other directly responsible personnel shall be punished according to law:
