Beginning in the late 1920s, the Department of Architecture of Jiangsu Public Suzhou Institute of Technology was established from 65438 to 0923. It was initiated by Liu Shiying and co-founded with Zhu and others, following the Japanese architectural teaching system. This is the predecessor of the Department of Architecture of Central University.

Later, there were 1927- 1928 Department of Engineering and Architecture of Northeastern University, Liang Sicheng, Lin, Tong Mao, etc. , modeled after the Department of Architecture of the University of Pennsylvania.

There are also the Department of Architecture of Peking University Art College, Shen Liyuan, etc. Follow the French architectural teaching system.
