At present, the total number of students in China is 242 million, accounting for nearly 90% of the total number of students.

According to Xu Mei, because some freshmen have not yet reported for duty, the last batch of staggered classes are arranged after the 11th, so this is the proportion.

This indicates that the education system has withstood the test of history and realized the safe, normal and comprehensive start of the autumn semester. In other words, the school has fully restored the normal education and teaching order. This is the result of the joint efforts of all parties under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council.

Xu Mei said that the next step is to consolidate the hard-won achievements and continue to do a good job in education and teaching under the normalized epidemic situation with a pragmatic spirit and attitude.
