What are the credits for continuing medical education?
Continuing medical education implements the credit system, and the credits are divided into two categories: first-class credits and second-class credits. The subjects of continuing medical education participate in continuing medical education activities every year and get no less than 25 credits, including 5- 10 credits for Class I and 15-20 credits for Class II.

The subjects of continuing medical education in medical and health units, tertiary hospitals and primary prevention and health care institutions of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government must obtain 10 credits for participating in national continuing medical education projects within five years. These two credits can't replace each other.

First, the national continuing medical education project:

1. Projects reviewed, approved and published by the National Committee of Continuing Medical Education.

2, declare the national continuing medical education base, announced by the National Committee of continuing medical education project.

Two, the provincial continuing medical education project:

1, the project was approved and published by the provincial continuing medical education Committee.

2, the provincial continuing medical education base to declare, by the provincial continuing medical education committee announced the project.

3. Non-national continuing medical education projects declared by Chinese Medical Association, Chinese Stomatological Association, Chinese Preventive Medical Association, Chinese Nursing Association, Chinese Hospital Association and Chinese Medical Doctor Association (hereinafter referred to as designated organizations) shall be uniformly announced by the National Committee for Continuing Medical Education after being reviewed and approved by the above-mentioned schools and organizations.
