This is the first time since the founding of New China to evaluate the provincial government's performance of educational responsibilities.

According to the report, the inspection team conducted intensive training in Shanghai before going to various places. Zhu Zhiwen, member of the Party Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education, attended the training meeting and delivered a speech. Zhu Zhiwen said that carrying out this work is conducive to unblocking the feedback channels of the implementation of national education laws, regulations and policies and ensuring the implementation of national education policies; It is conducive to stimulating the motivation of local governments to develop education and more fully mobilizing the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity of local governments to perform their educational duties.

According to reports, the evaluation of the provincial people's government's performance of educational duties refers to the evaluation of the leadership, management, guarantee and promotion of educational reform, development and stability within its administrative region. The evaluation work is led by the State Council Education Steering Committee.

This on-the-spot verification is an important part of a series of evaluation work such as local self-inspection, online expert evaluation, third-party monitoring and satisfaction survey for the provincial people's government to perform its educational duties.
