Artistic thinking

Calligraphy vitality

"It is natural that China's calligraphy art will flourish. If you don't want it to prosper, it's impossible. " This is the view expressed by Mr Ouyang Zhongshi in the academic lecture "The Vitality of China Calligraphy" held by China Art Museum, which fully expressed his confidence in the development prospect of China calligraphy culture.

Mr Ouyang Zhongshi pointed out: China's calligraphy is a brilliant aura that shines on China culture, and it is also a brilliant aura of world culture. China's calligraphy art has turned the thoughts and feelings contained in the individual's body and mind into crystals with tangible colors, sounds and songs, rhythm, spirit, great shock and strong feelings. But there is a premise, that is, to consider the trinity of "word", "text" and "book" Only in this way can we achieve the above state; If you look at it alone, it is not comprehensive.

Ouyang Zhongshi used his travel to illustrate his point of view. He said that through this trinity thinking form of "word", "text" and "book", he gained many great feelings. China is magnificent, and he has a deeper understanding of "magnificent" from the words written by others. He has been to Mount Tai. Somewhere on the mountain, he found the place so beautiful, but he couldn't explain it clearly. He just thinks it's so beautiful. But how beautiful it is, he can't say it. Just then, he found four big characters on the opposite mountain: "the source of the mountain." He saw the stream flowing out of the cracks in the mountain, down the mountain and into the distance. Looking south along Mount Tai, he only found a leucorrhea in the distance, which was a long river. At this time, he deeply realized "beauty": the source of mountains and rivers is here, and all rivers flow out from here. It seems that he suddenly has a new understanding and new feeling between heaven and earth. These four words spoke for him what he wanted to express but could not express, which aroused his deep and deep resonance. He said that this is the "power" of poetry and the "power" of language. Looking back at these four words, he felt that every word carried weight and was well written. Without them, he wouldn't understand. They showed magnificent mountains and rivers and brought out inner strength.
