The goal of kindergarten education is the concretization of the educational goal in the kindergarten education stage, the norms and requirements put forward by the state for cultivating people in kindergartens, and the unified guiding ideology of various preschool education institutions in China. The goal of kindergarten education in China is to "educate children for all-round development in physical, intellectual, moral and aesthetic aspects, and promote their harmonious development of body and mind".

The goals of the kindergarten are as follows:

(1) Promote the coordinated development of children's normal physical development and functions, enhance their physical fitness, and cultivate good living habits, hygiene habits and interest in participating in sports activities;

(2) Develop children's intelligence, cultivate children's basic ability of using senses correctly and using language to communicate, enhance children's understanding of the environment, cultivate children's beneficial interest and desire for knowledge, and cultivate children's preliminary practical ability;

(3) Germinate children's feelings of loving their hometown, collectivity, labor and science, and cultivate good moral behaviors and habits such as honesty, self-confidence, studious, friendly, brave, caring for public property, overcoming difficulties, being polite and obeying discipline, and a lively and cheerful personality;

(4) Cultivate children's initial interests, feelings and ability to express beauty.
