No.1 Middle School of Baiyin Company is located at No.236 Metallurgy Road, a prosperous area of Baiyin City. The school covers an area of 32,894 square meters, with a building area of 1, 559, 1 square meter and a green area of 3,229 square meters. It is the earliest middle school founded by Baiyin Nonferrous Metals Company. In 2002, the school was awarded "Model High School in Gansu Province" by the Education Department of Gansu Province. In 2007, it was handed over to the local government and renamed Baiyin No.8 Middle School.
