Changchun National Art School is a full-time, full-boarding, ordinary secondary professional art school (art vocational high school) approved by the Education Department of Jilin Province and the Development Planning Commission of Jilin Province. Recruiting students within the national plan will be implemented. After graduation, the Education Department of Jilin Province will issue a diploma with national recognition. Most of the professional teachers come from well-known art colleges in China, and the cultural teachers are excellent teachers with many years of teaching experience.

1998 Jilin Xing Jun Art School has achieved great-leap-forward development since it was approved by Jilin Provincial Education Commission. The school covers an area of 9000 square meters and has many teaching units such as primary school, junior high school and senior high school. It has advanced teaching facilities such as piano room, multimedia classroom, recording studio, dance room, practice room, multi-function hall, microcomputer room, broadcasting room, language lab and art studio. Jilin Xing Jun Art School is the only comprehensive secondary art school in Jilin Province that has been put on record by the Provincial Education Department, incorporated into the national unified recruitment plan and implemented full-time academic education. It is a teaching base jointly run by Jilin Art College, Changchun Song and Dance Troupe and Changchun Acrobatic Troupe.
