The Basic Information of China's Ancient and Modern Official Morality Research
20 10 In April, the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee entrusted the Beijing Academy of Social Sciences to set up a project research group on "China's official morality in ancient and modern times" to organize key experts in the fields of history, philosophy and scientific socialism to conduct special research. The Series of Research on Official Morality is the research result of this topic.

This series includes four books: History of Official Morality, Avenue of Official Morality, History of Official Morality and Application of Official Morality, which can be summarized as "History, Theory, Examples and Today". Among them, History of Official Virtue and History as a Mirror are two miniature reference books, while Avenue Official Virtue and Application of Official Virtue are official virtues, which are well versed in theoretical discussion. The History of Official Morality makes a "historical" study of official morality, which provides readers with a literary context of the development of official morality thought, so that they can get the overall impression of China's ancient official morality thought recorded in literature books for the first time. The Official Morality of Avenue makes a detailed theoretical study of official morality from the philosophical point of view, and discusses the connotation, characteristics and evolution of ancient official morality in China's ancient specific national system, political system and social structure. A Mirror for Officials is a collection of classic cases, featuring cases of incorruptible and corrupt officials in the long history of China. These stories are vivid and easy to read. On Official Morality expounds the necessity and importance of the construction of modern new official morality, its origin and germination, basic framework and composition, and its shaping and cultivation.

This series will be used as a textbook and educational book for cadres in party member to fight corruption, and will be made into a simple book and a pocket book for publication. In addition, the relevant departments will also use the Confucius Temple, imperial academy Museum and other educational bases to carry out a series of educational activities, hold exhibitions and lecture halls on official ethics in ancient and modern China, disseminate the research results on official ethics in an easy-to-understand form, and educate party member cadres.
