Yunnan Provincial Museum does not need tickets, but it is free.

Yunnan Provincial Museum is the largest comprehensive museum in Yunnan, with strong local customs and characteristics.

At present, as far as this museum is concerned, the collection here is very rich, mainly bronzes and ancient coins, as well as ceramics, Gu Shuhua, rubbings, stamps and various handicrafts, with more than 200,000 pieces, showing the history of ethnic minorities living in Yunnan.

Since its establishment, this museum has been exhibited in many countries, such as America and France. Its main purpose is to protect and carry forward the excellent national culture, display and protect it, and also has the function of collection and education. It is also the largest movable cultural relics institution in Yunnan, with certain research strength and important cultural value and status.

At present, this museum in Yunnan Province covers an area of 150 mu, and its main permanent exhibitions include centennial love, frontier defense, exotic Buddhist incense, splendid civilization, ancient Yunnan and so on.

The museum opens from 9:00- 17:00 and closes at 16: 30.
