Yunnan Communications Vocational and Technical College, referred to as Yunjiao Institute, was formerly known as Yunnan Communications School. The school was founded in 1952 and 200 1 year. Four schools (Yunnan Communications School, Yunnan Highway Bureau Staff University, Yunnan Communications Cadre School and Yunnan Communications Staff Secondary Vocational School) merged to form Yunnan Communications Vocational and Technical College. The name of the school is still in use today.
