Shenzhen University was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education, 1983. The central government, the Ministry of Education and local governments all attach great importance to the construction of universities in the SAR. Peking University aided China and foreign countries, Tsinghua aided electronics and architecture, and the National People's Congress aided economy and law.
