Bengbu No.1 Middle School, referred to as Bengbu No.1 Middle School for short, is a model middle school in Anhui Province and a "modern educational technology experimental school". Founded in 1949, it is the first public middle school in Bengbu, the same age as New China. 1953 became one of the first ten key middle schools in the province, and in 2000 it was rated as "Model Ordinary High School in Anhui Province" by the Provincial Department of Education.
