Give a time value
By setting the completion time of homework and rewarding free time, children can understand the value of time and the significance of saving. Reward children to enjoy their favorite activities, such as games, comic books and TV, and make them realize the value of time.
Pay the price for delay.
Let the children bear the consequences of being late and explain the reasons to the teacher. Even though my favorite TV has already started, I still insist on not watching it while eating. In this way, children will know how to cherish time and improve efficiency.
Homework is regarded as an exam.
Treat every homework as an exam and ask the children to finish it within the specified time. Before they finish, they are not allowed to leave their seats, eat or go to the toilet, which will help them concentrate and improve efficiency. This helps to form good study habits.
Using small alarm clock to improve time consciousness
Put a small alarm clock in the child's room, set the time to get up, start doing homework, and even finish each homework. An alarm clock can remind children of time and enhance their sensitivity to time. Guide children to arrange their own life schedules, set their own alarm clocks and exercise self-discipline.
The time saved is at the disposal of the children.
When children learn to save time, parents should give them back their time and let them arrange it freely. This is an encouragement and a respect for children.
Teach children to manage time.
Teach children some time management skills, such as priority and time planning. Encourage them to be masters of time, and don't forget to give praise and affirmation when children do well.
lead by example
Parents' behavior has a great influence on their children. Punctuality and orderliness will set a good example for children.
