Throughout history, predecessors in the field of education such as Cai Yuanpei, Pan Dingkun, Zhang, etc. They devoted their whole lives to education and tirelessly taught their students. They are role models for all our educators. This paper will discuss the mission of educators from two aspects: improving teaching ability and caring for students.

Strive to improve teaching ability

Educators should, like Cai Yuanpei, Pan Dingkun, Zhang and other predecessors, take teaching and educating people as their lifelong mission and constantly strive to improve their teaching ability.

Care for students

Educators should first care about students, have students in their hearts and serve them. Then respect students and fully respect their feelings, but please remember that real respect should be tailored to individuals and embody principles. Finally, understand students, trust students, understand what students think, believe what students say and understand what students do. Teachers should allow students to make mistakes and correct them.
