Curriculum and teaching theory are the key subjects (Class A) in our school. At present, the master's degree program has six research directions: curriculum theory, teaching theory, educational psychology, information technology education, primary education research and preschool education research, in order to cultivate good educational theory literacy, analyze and solve practical problems with advanced educational science theory, systematically master the basic theories of curriculum and teaching, and understand the development status and trends of curriculum and teaching theory at home and abroad. Specialized talents with good innovation ability, practical ability and entrepreneurial spirit, who are competent for teaching, scientific research and management of pedagogy, curriculum theory, teaching theory and other related courses.

The study period of the Master of Curriculum and Teaching Theory is generally two to three years, and the study period of the part-time master is generally no more than four years. Master students should complete the courses and dissertations required by the training plan within the prescribed study period, complete the credits and graduate on schedule. Master students who complete the training plan ahead of schedule may apply for graduation ahead of schedule. The time for scientific research and writing papers must be guaranteed to be above 1 year.

There are 18 tutors for master students in this major, including professors 10, 6 doctors and 2 young and middle-aged academic leaders in Zhejiang province. In addition, the famous teachers and principals of basic education in the region are hired as part-time tutors, and the dual tutorial system is implemented. In recent years, this major has made gratifying achievements in discipline construction. In the past five years, he has published more than 50 academic papers and 7 works in core journals such as Educational Research and Psychological Science, undertaken projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level 10, won 3 provincial and ministerial awards such as provincial philosophy and social sciences and national education science outstanding achievement award, and won provincial and university outstanding scientific research achievement award 165438. Pedagogy discipline with this discipline as its main support point was ranked in the top 40 of "China University 100 Top Discipline" for seven consecutive years in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
