The state has no unified national regulations on this. According to the provisions of Article 5 of the Regulations on School Health Work of the former State Education Commission:
"Students arrive at school every day, generally no earlier than 7: 50 in primary school and no earlier than 7: 30 in middle school; The school time for primary schools should be no later than 16: 30, and for middle schools no later than 17: 30. Allow all districts and counties to make appropriate adjustments in light of local realities and seasonal changes.
At the same time, it also stipulates that schools should arrange students' study time reasonably. Students' daily study time (including self-study) shall not exceed six hours in primary school, eight hours in middle school and ten hours in university.
Regulations on school health work
In order to strengthen school health work and improve students' health level, the Regulations on School Health Work are formulated. /kloc-0 was approved by the State Council on April 25th, 990, and/kloc-0 was promulgated and implemented by the State Education Commission and the Ministry of Health on June 4th, 990.

In order to optimize the policy system of school health and health education and further strengthen the guiding role of the School Health Work Regulations on school health and health education in the new era, the General Office of the Ministry of Education recently issued a notice on soliciting opinions on the revision of the School Health Work Regulations, and officially started the revision of the School Health Work Regulations.
