Moreover, to be a teacher in Australia, you need to pass the certification of AITSL, an educational professional certification body. To be assessed as a kindergarten teacher by AITSL, you need to meet the following two requirements:

1. Education requirements:

Bachelor degree or above, including at least one-year registration course for senior affairs (university) teachers.

Complete a 45-day internship at the age of 0-8 in a primary school or preschool institution.

Note: The above conditions need to be met at the same time.

2. English requirements

Higher education (i.e. universities) in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States has completed full-time study for four years, including at least one year of teacher registration courses at the end of the four years.
