Note 1: The requirement of continuing education (CPE) is 30 class hours per year. The reporting period starts from 1 June 1 after two exams. The period from the successful completion of two exams to the second year 1 is a grace period. There is no requirement for continuing education during this period, but any continuing education hours obtained during this period can be included in the first reporting period.
Note 2: When a licensed member completes more than 30 hours of continuing education in one year, at most 10 hours can be carried forward to the next year. For example, if you complete 38 hours this year, you can carry it over to 8 hours next year; If 45 hours are completed this year, at most 10 hours can be carried forward to the next year. Simply put, only 10 hours can be carried over to the next year.
Note 3: IMA members need to charge their continuing education hours to their personal accounts. The specific steps are as follows:
Open IMA website → click login in the upper right corner → click "My Profile" in the upper right corner → enter "Report Card Information" → view CPE status.
Note 4: The continuing education courses of IMA Association, including IMAWebinars, will update the personal information of the members after they attend.
After attending other continuing education courses held by non-IMA headquarters, each subject can be regarded as 15 continuing education hours, and members can click "Add Transcript" to fill in the form by themselves.
