All localities should improve policy support measures and constantly improve the level of after-school services. In fact, as early as 2065438+April 2004, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and the Education Supervision Office of the Beijing Municipal People's Government had issued the Opinions on Further Standardizing Teaching Behavior in Compulsory Education, requiring schools not to assign homework to parents of students or let parents of students correct homework on their behalf.

First, correcting homework should be what teachers should do.

Teachers' duty is to spread and transmit human scientific and cultural knowledge, so that it can be continued and developed. Assigning and correcting homework is also an important part for teachers to preach, teach and solve doubts. Correcting homework by teachers themselves can not only help teachers effectively understand where students are confused, but also help them to prescribe the right medicine, adjust teaching plans and teaching priorities, and let students get a better education.

Second, parents are inefficient in correcting homework.

First of all, many parents have been away from textbooks for many years. Even if the knowledge in the textbook has been learned, it is estimated that it has almost been forgotten. If parents want to correct homework, they may be embarrassed at first, and they don't know where to start when they look at a sea of problems, which leads to low efficiency of parents' correcting homework. Not only may they not be able to point out the mistakes in their homework, but even if they do, they may not know why they are wrong and cannot effectively guide their children's learning. This wastes the time of both children and parents. Besides, most parents have jobs. After a hard day outside, I'm really tired of finishing what the teacher should do when I come back.
