Sichuan Education College is now called Chengdu Normal University.

Chengdu Normal University Chengdu University, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a public full-time undergraduate college sponsored and supervised by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, and has been selected as an excellent teacher education and training program in Sichuan Province.

The school was founded in 1955 and formerly known as Sichuan Education Administration College. It has gone through the development stages of Sichuan Education Cadre College (1964), Sichuan Education College (1978) and Sichuan Education College (1984). On March 20 12, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was restructured into a full-time undergraduate college and renamed chengdu normal university.

As of June 2022, the school has three campuses: Wenjiang Campus, Renmin South Road Campus and Baiguolin Campus, and its headquarters is located in Wenjiang Campus. 15 secondary college, 37 general undergraduate majors; Faculty 10 12, including doctor 160 and 380 teachers with senior titles; More than 1.7 million students.
