According to the Interim Provisions on Education Supervision, institutions exercising the functions and powers of education supervision shall set up corresponding full-time inspectors, whose appointment and removal shall be handled in accordance with the personnel management authority and procedures of the relevant state administrative organs. Institutions exercising the functions and powers of educational supervision may employ part-time inspectors according to the needs of their work. Part-time inspectors have the same powers as full-time inspectors. The inspector shall be awarded the inspector certificate by the people's government at the corresponding level or its education administrative department.
