The First Farewell is a family film jointly produced by Elephant Records, Tencent Pictures, Shanghai Qiaoxi and Eying Group. The film is directed by Wang Lina and stars Elsa Yasen and Kylie Binur Rehmituri. It premiered at Tokyo Film Festival on October 29th, 20 18/KLOC-0, and was released in China on July 20th, 2020.

The film tells the story of Elsa, Kelly and Kelly's younger brother who live in Shaya, Xinjiang, facing life changes and separation again and again, as well as their attachment to their families and hometown.

In 20 19, this film became one of the "39th batch of excellent films recommended by the Ministry of Education to primary and secondary school students in China".
