The post-90s college students are an innovative generation in the interweaving of tradition and reality. This generation of college students adhere to the mainstream value system in political ideas, and have a high enthusiasm for political participation, but there are certain cognitive misunderstandings; Pioneering and enterprising in the concept of life, proactive, flexible and pragmatic, but world-weary; Open-minded in moral concept and innovative in adhering to tradition; The subject consciousness is clear in learning, but the learning atmosphere needs to be improved; There are great differences among consumers, and new consumption concepts are taking shape; Healthy lifestyle and active participation in practical activities, but self-protection awareness needs to be strengthened; Love pays attention to practical experience, is independent and deeply influenced by feminism. There is no absolute boundary between mainstream culture and non-mainstream culture, and the public should treat the "post-90 s" subculture with a more rational and inclusive attitude.

In order to better understand the post-90s college students and improve the pertinence, effectiveness and scientificity of ideological and political education, our group organized this survey. The research topic is to investigate the ideological and living conditions of post-90s college students, including the contents of outlook on life and values, and to structurally decompose them, so as to effectively realize the transformation from macro to meso and then to micro.

The existing research results rarely involve the "post-90 s" college students, a "new thing", and the information is relatively scarce. From the perspective of cultural relativism and feminism, this study combines quantitative research with qualitative research to make a systematic and overall study of post-90 s college students, which is helpful to break the stereotype and subjective prejudice of the public, better understand post-90 s college students and innovate the ways and means of ideological and political education, and has important theoretical and practical significance.
