However, there are not a few teachers around us who are engaged in and love educational writing. In many schools, principals do not really attach importance to educational writing and fail to guide teachers to engage in educational writing well and in time. Only a few far-sighted principals put in manpower and material resources to actively guide this work, or personally demonstrate and actively devote themselves to writing, or the director of the academic affairs office takes the lead, so as to drive many.
I have seen many such examples, such as Zhang Jurong, the headmaster of Hu Fen Experimental Primary School in Wujiang, Jiangsu. He used to be the director of the teaching department of the Municipal Education Bureau. He is very good at thinking and writing. He is diligent in updating his blog and publishes many articles every year. But he didn't just do scientific research by himself, but under the specific guidance of invited experts, he led dozens of teachers in the school to write, do teaching and research collectively, write blogs, publish school newspapers, contribute and publish. Their persistence in the past few years has also been richly rewarded: Teachers' Fair, Jiangsu Education, Primary and Secondary School Management and other publications have carried out weighty reports on their practices and published many teachers' research results. Some principals can write like this. They often contribute to us, so we know it well. There is also a director who keeps reading every day, writes an educational essay every week and updates his blog regularly. He is Chang Shenglong, director of education in Hongkou District, Shanghai. He is also the signing author of our publication.
First, the significance of educational writing (why)
Combined with my own writing experience, I think educational writing has four meanings. Here I will borrow some ideas from Xiao Chuan, a professor at Beijing Normal University.
(A) Educational writing can improve the quality of reading.
If you have the habit of writing, your reading quality will be higher. If you are not used to writing, you may be more inclined to browse, skim and glance. If there is a need for writing, there will often be excerpts, chewing carefully, wondering how the author expresses, how to conceive, how to lay out articles, and how to cut and select materials. Reading helps writing, and writing promotes reading. The two complement each other and complement each other.
(2) Educational writing can deepen ideological understanding.
Many questions, if you don't have the need and habit of writing, you will just think about them and say them, as if they will get by. However, if you want to write an article, you will feel that the accumulation of materials is not enough, and you need to accumulate materials further; If you haven't thought this problem through and reasoned it out, then you should clear your mind, clear your mind, think and explore the problem repeatedly, and finally write like a god. Therefore, writing helps you to observe life more attentively, accumulate materials, deepen your ideological understanding and improve your ideological ability.
(C) Educational writing can improve teaching ability
1. Oral expression ability
Needless to say, educational writing can improve the ability of written expression. As we all know, spoken and written language are two languages. Oral English can rely on timely feedback and situations, and it is often not so accurate, complete, standardized and accurate. Writing often will make your oral English very accurate, concise, standardized and complete, improve your oral expression ability and ensure your quality.
2. Appreciation ability
What kind of article is a good article? If you have writing habits and high quality, your appreciation will be higher. If you write too much, your eyes will be fierce "An expert will know if there is one when he reaches out."
With a certain appreciation ability, it is easier to cultivate students' ability to appreciate articles. What kind of article is a good article? What's wrong with bad articles? What is the reason? In this way, it is easier to achieve the teaching goal by combining the cultivation of students' appreciation ability and writing ability.
3. Imaginary thinking and logical thinking ability
Educational writing, including educational stories, educational essays and educational papers, is narrative and argumentative, which sometimes requires visual thinking and sometimes logical thinking. Training over time will undoubtedly improve teachers' ability in these two aspects. In this way, it will certainly be of great benefit to teachers' subject teaching and subject research.
(D) Educational writing can improve the sense of accomplishment.
Writing will give us a special sense of accomplishment. As the saying goes, "fame and fortune" is true. This may be a bit vain, but it is the case. Teachers' professional happiness is based on their sense of security, belonging and accomplishment. The bottom layer is the sense of security (occupational safety, life safety, spiritual safety); The second is a sense of belonging, being accepted, accepted, recognized, and having a sense of belonging; The third is a sense of accomplishment, a sense of accomplishment. Finally, happiness is based on the above three senses. Happiness is an inner experience of life, and happiness is material and spiritual enrichment. Reading is spiritual wealth, so is writing. When you write down what you think, see and hear, when you write down every achievement and progress, every setback and reflection, you will freeze because of your words, become eternal and become a beautiful memory. How happy this feeling will be!
Professor Xiao Chuan firmly believes that people who can write good articles will be able to take good classes, because the standard of an article is very similar to that of a class. I firmly believe so.
Second, the content of educational writing (what to write)
1. Teaching reflection: reflection and introspection on daily education and teaching.
2. "Educational stories: their own and others'" (usually educational newsletters)
3. Reading notes: thoughts after reading, film reviews, diaries, etc.
Third, the method of educational writing (how to write)
1. Learn to accumulate and get into the habit of writing teaching diaries and teaching essays.
The advantage of front-line teachers is that they work and live on campus, deal with students every day, prepare lessons every day, deal with contradictions and straighten out the relationship with students. There may be new discoveries at any time, people and things that touch their minds and shake their hearts, and thoughts that flash by, so please record them at any time and store them in your database. Maybe it will be used in the future to play its role.
2. Learn to choose, cultivate the ability to analyze and sort out, and get the essence from the rough.
There are many materials, and not everyone can write a good article, so it is necessary to analyze and sort out the rough and choose the best. See what topics are worth exploring, what depth is worth expanding, whether there are features, whether there are bright spots and bright spots, and make scientific choices for the next use.
3. Learn to conceive and draft the layout and theme structure of the article.
The idea of an article is as important as the strategy of a war. Conceiving is to deploy troops in your mind, make layout, make scientific decisions, and make careful layout, which determines the outcome of this battle. It is the same thing not to fight an unprepared war and not to write an unprepared article.
4. Learn to express, so as to achieve a literal and reasonable effect.
Writing requires good language skills. When everything in your mind is ready, it will explode, and then you have to greet them one by one with the right words and phrases. Welcome is a good article; A bad greeting is a bad article. Different styles and different contents need different language ways to correspond. For example, educational narrative, with stories and plots, must be expressed in a slightly vivid and three-dimensional language; Educational prose should have clear facts, distinct viewpoints, novel angles and vivid and plain language; Generally speaking, educational papers should have clear arguments, strong arguments, plain words and clear expressions. Thought itself is very powerful and does not need gorgeous packaging.
