Over the past year, has Bird's behavior in school deviated from its original intention when it was founded? What is your judgment on the industry trend and competition of double-qualified foreign teachers? What is your attitude towards education and teachers themselves? What is the logic behind mode change, business expansion and service upgrade? Behind the rapid development, how to ensure the quality of service?
In order to solve these problems, I interviewed Ms. Ye, the founder of Bird School, in this issue to show you the truest side of the Bird School team.
Q: Hello, can you briefly introduce the birds in the school?
Pattica: I remember that when my partner and I went to school at Entrepreneurship Bird, we had an original intention. At that time, we had an original intention that "everyone can be a teacher and everyone will be a learner." So I always remember our original intention. As far as birds go to school, we hope to bring the best resources in the world back to China, and we also hope to bring the best resources in China to the world through our platform.
Through our platform, we send the best foreign teacher resources in Britain and America to some children and schools in second-and third-tier cities or first-tier cities in China.
We believe that based on this original intention, we will be able to make better educational resources, so that anyone or everyone can reach at your fingertips.
Q: Since Birdie went to school for one year, your views on the industry, competitors and foreign teachers are definitely different from those at the beginning of your establishment. What changes will there be?
Pattica: When we started doing it, I thought the best way was to directly infiltrate our foreign teachers' resources into the classroom through the way of dual-qualification, and then combine them with its existing knowledge.
Over the past year or so, I have found that the status of double-qualified foreign teachers in everyone's minds or eyes has changed from ignorance and disapproval at the beginning to recognition now. Now I think this is a very good choice, and I am still very happy about it.
I am also very happy, whether it is called a competitor or a colleague, I am very happy that everyone will work together for this matter.
Q: In your opinion, what is the difference between what your team is doing and what your competitors are doing? Will there be competition between them?
Patyka: Because this market or this industry is actually big enough, and I really hope people in the same industry can do this with us.
Therefore, I believe that every entrepreneur, or every enterprise, can grow up because they insist on doing what they believe, or believe that they are insisting on doing. So I don't think it makes any difference, only you believe it or not.
Q: I believe that there are still a large number of people who think that the concept of "double teachers for foreign teachers" is actually a very fake concept, or a very fake demand. What do you think of this?
Patyka: Of course, there are many ways to learn English. There are many ways to learn English, but we always do what we think is right and what we believe.
We have more than 6,000 English and American foreign teachers with pure pronunciation, and our online foreign teacher resources are guaranteed to be the best. We guarantee that his pronunciation, his own education level, his view of the world and some of his own values will have an impact on children. These things are endless.
At present, both foreign teachers with pure foreign pronunciation and Chinese teachers who are proficient in teaching are actually very scarce resources in the market. Especially in the second, third and fourth tier cities, this figure is very small. So if there are better resources to bring to more children, why not try?
Q: What has made you feel most fulfilled recently?
Patyka: Speaking of things with a sense of accomplishment, last week, we received an international teacher qualification training. Through these four days and three nights of training, we not only improved our theoretical knowledge, but also recognized the identity of educators at a deeper level.
So I like doing such a thing very much, that is, leading more teachers to grow more, think more, and think about what is the meaning behind us doing this. Last week, I felt that we had a common belief that what you teach is what you teach. You must think about whether you can help your children live a good life.
And then, of course, a sense of accomplishment. Last week, we attended a global user conference of edusoho. Then this user conference is a grand ceremony for some online educators around the world.
At the ceremony, I also had the honor to speak on behalf of the bird, go to school, and tell my entrepreneurial story to my partners around the world. At the meeting, my partner gave me a lot of applause and recognition. So this incident has given us a lot of recognition, both from the industry and from within, so let's go more firmly.
Q: As far as I know, at first Birdie went to school mainly to provide some foreign teachers' resources and curriculum design for B-end institutions, and now she has started to train teachers, study tours and direct schools. Do you think you may not be able to do it, or do you want to do these things when your quality drops badly? Is there such a worry or worry?
Patyka: I think it's natural to do these things. First, our team is growing. Second, we believe that these educational ideas need to be implemented through our services and our down-to-earth practice, thus helping tens of thousands or hundreds of millions of primary and secondary educational institutions in China.
And in the future, we may do more and more things, and the service system behind it may become more and more huge.
Our next plan is to open our direct schools in various cities in China. At the same time, we will take teacher training as a very big plan. We will train at least 200,000 excellent teachers in China, so that 200,000 excellent teachers in China can obtain international teacher qualification certificates and become better, more capable and more international English teachers.
