Talking about the principles that nursing teaching should follow and why we should follow these principles.
The concept of psychological nursing has not been clearly defined so far. Generally speaking, psychological nursing is a nursing process that uses psychological theory and technology to care, support and help the existing and potential psychological problems, psychological needs and psychological state of the nursing object through verbal and nonverbal communication, so as to solve their psychological problems, meet their psychological needs, change their bad psychological state and behavior, improve their adaptability, and promote their rehabilitation or maintain their best health. Broadly speaking, practitioners of psychological nursing are not limited to professional nurses or specific psychological nursing measures. Doctors, nurses, other hospital staff, patients' families and friends can all carry out psychological care. The object of psychological nursing is not only the patients in clinical departments, but also the rest in nursing homes, the lonely elderly in nursing homes and even healthy people. Principles of psychological nursing 1. Communication principle Psychological nursing is based on good interpersonal relationships and communication, which can coordinate relationships, meet needs, reduce loneliness and enhance feelings. Communication is conducive to the smooth progress of medical care work and helps patients maintain a good psychological state. In communication, both sides should respect each other, and nursing staff should play a leading role. 2. Service principle Psychological nursing is as service as other medical work. Nurses should provide patients with technical services and life services from the perspective of service to meet their physiological and psychological needs. 3. There is no unified model of psychological nursing based on the principle of pertinence. Nurses should take various measures according to the different psychological state of each patient at different stages of the disease, so that it varies from person to person. Therefore, when communicating with patients, nurses should be good at observing, talking and inspiring patients to tell their own stories, and if necessary, they can also use psychological tests and other means to grasp the patient's condition and psychological state in time. 4. Inspirational principle Nurses should use the knowledge of related disciplines to educate and inspire patients in psychological care, so as to change their cognitive level, eliminate their wrong understanding of diseases, and change their attitude towards diseases and treatment from passive to active. 5. Self-care principle Self-care is a self-practice activity for one's own survival, health and comfort, including health maintenance, self-diagnosis, self-medication, self-prevention and participation in health care. Good self-care is a manifestation of mental health, which helps to maintain patients' self-esteem and self-confidence and meet their psychological needs. Therefore, nurses should encourage, help and guide patients to take care of themselves as much as possible.
