State-recognized academic qualifications:

Meet the requirements of national government agencies and educational institutions and have qualified junior college or undergraduate diplomas (academic certificates). The state recognizes the following seven forms of academic diplomas.

1, self-study exam graduation certificate.

2. Diploma in Higher Education Examination.

3. Those who pass the college entrance examination and are admitted to institutions of higher learning hold the graduation certificate of ordinary institutions of higher learning.

4. Those who pass the entrance examination for adult colleges and universities and are admitted hold the graduation certificate of adult colleges and universities.

5. Graduation certificates of military academies shall be jointly issued by the General Staff and the Ministry of Education.

6. Adult higher education forms approved by the Ministry of Education that belong to the national education series, such as adult college entrance examination, distance network education, open education, etc.

The definition of online education:

Network education, now also called distance education, refers to giving full play to the various educational functions of the network and the advantages of rich network educational resources under the guidance of modern educational ideas and learning theories, providing network teaching and learning environment for educatees and learners, transmitting digital content, and carrying out learner-centered non-face-to-face educational activities.

At present, the Ministry of Education has approved 68 colleges and universities to carry out online education (modern distance education) pilot. For online education students who meet the requirements of undergraduate and junior college graduation, colleges and universities will issue higher education diplomas in accordance with relevant state regulations, and the state will recognize their diplomas after electronic registration.
