Jiangdong New District, Heyuan, Guangdong Province, is a public high school, the earliest century-old prestigious school in the middle and upper reaches of Dongjiang River, located in Guzhu Town. The predecessor of the school can be traced back to 1882, the "Chinese Library" founded by Yuankeng, Wuhua County. In the first five years of the Republic of China, it moved to Guzhu, renamed Yue Middle School, and was also a normal school, which was the beginning of secondary education in the upper reaches of Dongjiang River.
