The College of Continuing Education of Lanzhou University of Technology is a secondary college of Lanzhou University of Technology. The college has dual functions, both as an administrative function and a school-running entity. Adult higher education planned by the state can be held, as well as all kinds of adult education and continuing education serving national and local enterprises and institutions. Students enjoy the same educational treatment as students in ordinary colleges and universities, and their learning, life, experiments and other teaching links are carried out in the school. The College of Continuing Education was established on the basis of the former College of Adult Education of Gansu University of Technology. 1983 began to recruit night school students. In 1984, the school set up a preparatory group to specialize in adult education. Over the past 20 years, tens of thousands of students of various levels have been trained for many enterprises and institutions across the country, and the current number of students has reached 1 1000.

Lanzhou University of Technology, located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is a university jointly established by the Gansu Provincial People's Government, the Ministry of Education and the National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense.
