Mountains and rivers. Ballads of China is the first text in Unit 3, Volume 2 of Chinese Grade Two, the standard experimental textbook for compulsory education. According to the relevant contents in the book, mountains and rivers do not belong to the nicknames mentioned in Chinese ballads. In China's ballads, the first sentence says "I am in China, and my name is China", and the motherland is directly called "China" and "China", which highlights the love for the motherland.
