Jinan University, located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, was founded on 1906. China is the first overseas Chinese institution of higher learning founded by the state, a national key university, directly under the leadership of the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council.
It is a key university under the national "2 1 1 Engineering" and "985 Engineering Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform". It is a world-class discipline construction university. The Ministry of Education, the State Council Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and Guangdong Province signed a contract to build a key university, and it is the first batch of demonstration universities in China to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education.
