There is a big gap between rural education and urban education. What should we do?
First of all, rural education resources are scarce. A village does not even have a school. I remember when I was a child, I had to go to a distant school in the third grade. I spend more than two hours walking to school every day. Now, even from the first grade, these children will experience such learning. So, for once, we wasted a lot. Secondly, education can be divided into school education and family education. From the perspective of school education, urban education tends to be diversified, while rural education is relatively single. For example, from primary school, urban children have not only basic Chinese and mathematics, but also English, science and practice courses, which are extremely important for children's innovation and open thinking.

In rural schools, although there are such courses, they are mainly Chinese mathematics, and other courses are basically absent, or they have just finished learning and there are no professional teachers in this field. In terms of school education, there is a big gap between urban and rural areas in terms of teachers and curriculum training. If the gap between urban and rural school education is one to two, then the gap between family education can be said to be seven to eight. Today, with the increasing population, the number of students in a class in a school is already very large, and it is impossible for a responsible teacher to take care of everyone's situation, so family education is particularly important. However, children in rural areas are extremely scarce in this regard. In order to work, most parents of rural children have to leave their hometown to make a living in the city, and of course they can't come back often, so most of them have become left-behind children, and there is no parental discipline at home.

When I was a child, a group of people shouted at each other and scolded each other, proud of winning and scolding. Now it seems that without parental discipline, it can be said that there is no tutor and no education. Rural parents' educational awareness is insufficient. Most parents in rural areas have not received a good education, like my parents, whose parents graduated from primary school and their mothers graduated from junior high school, and they don't know the importance of education. It's not that important to see if children study well. There is such an idea that if you study well, you will not study, and you can work early to earn money and spend less money. So most of my classmates didn't study in junior high school. I have a very good friend who has been in the same class from kindergarten to junior high school graduation, and his grades are not bad.

But his mother-in-law has always had the idea that education is useless and has always opposed his going to school. Later, for various reasons, he dropped out of high school. Parents don't pay enough attention to their children's education because they don't have much education and don't know the importance of education. In winter and summer vacations, most children in rural areas help with farm work, while children in cities will learn various skills or continue to go to cram schools, so that while you are playing, others are learning, and the gap will further widen. As I said before, most parents of rural children are not at home, or their educational level is not high, so homework that children can't do when they go home will be lost. So in my opinion, a key point of the gap between urban and rural education is family education.
