Northeast Normal University is a directly affiliated university in People's Republic of China (PRC), located in Changchun City, Jilin Province. Founded in 1946, formerly known as Northeastern University, it is the first comprehensive university established by China in Northeast China. 1950 was renamed northeast normal university according to the needs of national education development.
