What physical education is an integral part of education?
Lifelong physical education originates from the theory of lifelong education. This advanced educational theory has a great influence on the theory and development of physical education. The integrity and continuity of lifelong sports show that school sports and social sports are organic components of lifelong sports, and they are interrelated. The word lifelong physical education should not be neglected, and sports in a narrow sense contains all the contents of education. Although there are three aspects of sports in a broad sense: physical education, competitive sports and physical exercise, these three aspects are interrelated and have the functions of education and teaching, so the word sports itself is an educational process. Therefore, taking the word before one's death and replacing education with sports has become the word lifelong sports. This method of replacing flowers with trees has not changed the idea and significance of lifelong sports, and extended lifelong education to the field of sports. This is the development and extension of the thought and theory of lifelong education. At the same time, it has opened up a broad world for the popularization and development of sports. The basic concept of physical education has something in common with the educational concept of regular physical exercise mentioned in The Purpose and Task of Physical Education in China, but there are also different aspects. The similarities are that they participate in physical exercises and activities regularly and continuously, and they all have the flexibility of exercise time and the diversity of exercise contents and forms. The difference is that lifelong physical education is an accidental and organized participation in physical exercise and study, rather than a fixed personal demand and hobby. Habitual participation in physical exercise is the need of one's life and work. Therefore, this habit can accompany a person's life process, perseverance, anti-interference, is the highest goal of lifelong sports.
