Etiquette and Grade of Taekwondo

Taekwondo is one of the official events of the modern Olympic Games, and it is a sport that mainly fights or confronts with hands and feet. Taekwondo originated in the Korean peninsula, evolved from Taekwondo and Hualang Road in the Three Kingdoms period in South Korea, and is a popular martial art in South Korea. The following is my taekwondo etiquette and taekwondo level. Let's have a look.

Taekwondo practice is carried out in the form of fighting between two sides, but no matter how intense, because both sides aim at improving their skills and tempering their will, they should hold the psychology of showing respect and learning to each other in their own hearts. Therefore, we must salute each other before and after practice or competition, which is the martial spirit of "starting with ceremony and ending with ceremony" advocated by Taekwondo. Because Taekwondo is a comprehensive exercise of practitioners' mind and body, it enables practitioners to cultivate ideal personality and body through hard training, and can really master self-defense skills, so practitioners' mental exercise must include "etiquette" education and edification. Etiquette is an essential and very important part of Taekwondo.

Etiquette in practice

(l) When the practitioner enters the site, he first salutes the teacher.

(2) Both sides should salute each other before practice, and then salute each other after practice.

(2) According to the referee's password of "turn left and turn right", the athletes turn inward and stand at attention, and then salute each other according to the password of "salute".

Post-game etiquette

(l) At the end of the competition, the athletes meet in their respective positions.

(2) Athletes salute each other according to the referee's orders of "attention" and "salute".

(3) The athlete turns to the supervisor according to the referee's password of "turn left and right" and "salute" and pays a standard military salute to the supervisor.

Boxing is divided into ten grades and nine grades according to the level of practitioners. Beginners gradually rise from level 10 to level 1, and then enter level 1. The higher the level, the higher the level, up to nine. From the tenth grade to the first grade is the standard of elementary class, which is represented by white, yellow, green, blue and red ribbons. After the appearance, they are all black belt representatives. One to three stages are considered as black belt novices, four to six stages are high-level, and seven to nine stages are awarded to outstanding people with high knowledge and attainments or people who have made outstanding contributions to Taekwondo. The parts of the black belt are distinguished by special marks on the black belt.

Grades and stages of Taekwondo (products)

Yellow belt: level 8, level 7.

Green belt: Grade 6, Grade 5.

Blue Ribbon: Grade 4, Grade 3

Beginners, usually accompanied by leucorrhea, learn the basic etiquette and knowledge of Taekwondo. Usually, Taekwondo practitioners are called beginners (ribbons) before obtaining the qualification of black belt. Beginners can take the "promotion exam" held once a month. If you pass the exam, you can be promoted to a higher level. Generally speaking, if you persist in studying, it will only take about one to one and a half years from the beginning of leucorrhea to the past of black belt.
